ForwardBR: Health and Health Equity in Baton Rouge

Leadership Baton Rouge Alumni is hosting a Forward BR panel discussion with state and local leaders about all areas in regards to health and health equity in Baton Rouge. Have your questions answered and join us for an important community discussion. Light refreshments will be served. 

Our panel includes the following speakers:

• Trisha Guidry, Chief Operating Officer, Baton Rouge General Mid City
• Christy Reeves, Vice President of Community Engagement & Impact, Ochsner Health
• Asha Johnson, Director, Talent Strategy & DEI, Franciscan Missionaries Our Lady Health System
• Renada Deschamp, Vice President of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion and Chief Diversity Officer, Woman's Hospital

A minimum donation of $10 is requested from all attendees. A portion of the event proceeds supports Community Birth Companion. Please consider an additional donation, if you are able to.

Community Birth Companion is an infant and maternal mortality prevention non-profit organization with a mission to decrease infant and maternal mortality rates among low income mothers through childbirth education, breastfeeding promotion, and community doulas. They serve mothers across the state of Louisiana and LBRA is proud to spotlight their great work in health equity.
