Leadership Baton Rouge Alumni, in partnership with Forum225, is hosting a ForwardBR panel discussion with state and local leaders on the importance of Early Childhood Education and understanding its role in our educational system. Have your questions answered, and join us for a meaningful community discussion. Light refreshments will be served at the event.


Our Panel includes the following speakers:

  • State Representative Barbara Freiberg
  • State Senator Cleo Fields
  • Dr. Libbie Sonnier, Executive Director of the Louisiana Policy Institute for Children
  • Tessa Holloway, CEO of Kidz Karousel Early Learning Centers
  • Brace "Trey" Godfrey III, Senior Vice President of Policy for the Baton Rouge Area Chamber


A minimum donation of $10 is requested from all attendees. A portion of the event proceeds supports the Louisiana Leadership Institute. Please consider an additional donation.


The mission of the Louisiana Leadership Institute is to be a non-profit organization that provides programs and services to build leadership, improve academic skills and increase self-esteem and motivation in the Greater Baton Rouge Metro Area Students. The Institute aims to create leaders for the 21st century by exposing students to educational, cultural, and recreational activities.
